Aidan And Hilda Worship Spreads

Carol Smith writes: 'It was such a joy and a privilege to be leading worship with CA&H members in the chapel built by Saint Cedd of Lindisfarne at Bradwell, Essex.  I said I think he would be pleased that worship is still being offered in the house of prayer that he built after all these years! As we arrived, the most beautiful rainbow appeared above the chapel! A sure sign (we felt) that God was with us. Many people stayed and chatted afterwards, receiving info and resources that we’d taken with us'.

Two weeks later Carol Few and Graham Booth of CA&H contributed to a BBC Radio 4 programme of worship from Lindisfarne.

I hope these are signs that the time has come for Aidan and Hilda worship to take root more widely.  'Liturgies from Lindisfarne' and many other resources are available. We also hope that many churches will use such material in 2013 when 1300 years of The Lindisfarne Gospels will be celebrated.
